Playgrounds Aren't Just For Little Kids

2nd to last week of summer vacation and i don't how i feel. Colleges are starting to put out their common app suppliments and i want to get a head start, but still enjoy the last week of summer vacation. I've only found four colleges to apply to and 1 i really really want to go to (Barnard) and another i really want to got to (Georgia Tech), another i'll go to if i don't get my other two choices (UGA) and the last is my super safety school for when everything goes wrong (Georgia State University). I feel like i should have more choices and i wanting to go to Barnard too bad. Barnard seems to be my dream school. An all girls school so i won't be as worried about guys, but classes are mixed between Barnard and Columbia so i get to see guys, and it's in New York City. It's a great college with great academics and so many opportunities to do so many things, and having the city of New York at your disposal is just too great. i've watched videos and read articles and i really should stop myself because i'm falling in love and i'm not sure i can get in, there will probably be so many girls with better test scores and more volunteers hours than me, but i really want to got to Barnard. I'd work my @ss off if i got into that school. But even if i got in i don't know if i could afford it. i need to look at scholarships and financial aid and i wanted to get a job but my mom won't let me and my parents are iffy about me getting my license and nothing seems to be going right. I keep look at the Barnard common app supplement and trying to think of the perfect thing to write. I want to stand out amongst all the other girls that apply, because my SAT score isn't perfect, my GPA's pretty good but it could be better and i just REALLY REALLY REALLY want to get into this school.

Anyway lets get to the outfit. Me and my sister went on a picnic on the playground at a local school. it was so much fun. My sister got a new dress from the mall and decided to wear it and i wanted to dress up too, but i only have two dresses in my closet (no lie! my boobs don't fit anything and when they do it's usually some ugly dress i absolutely hate.) my dress for homecoming and a zebra print maxi dress. I took my maxi skirt and hoisted it up and put on of my mom's old belts around y waist and wore it with my DIY bleached denim vest. I can't believe how long the skirt still is even after i hoisted it up.
I'm also thinking of getting my hair cut, keeping the length on the front and top, but cutting the sides short, i'm tired of my hair 1) touching my ears and 2) flairing out in the back at the bottom after like 30 mins.

I Love The Unpredicatable

My sister went to the mall Saturday to meet up with her friends, and since i love the mall i decided i tag along for the ride and go shopping by myself when we got there. While i was helping my sister find her friends i ran into some of my friends, and i also found out there was a Zara in the mall [too bad i forgot and never went in :( ]. I ended up meeting with five of my friends and we had a great time, one of my friends graduated early so we spent time just having fun and looking for clothes for her to wear to college parties.
I also found a new love:Yoforia
This place is amazing! They make frozen yogurt with the texture of soft serve icecream and you can put toppings on it. Toppings range from Oreo cookie pieces and chocolate chips to almond pieces and granola to fruit, including blackberries, mango, strawberries and much more. I got original yogurt with black berries, mango and granola, it was DELICIOUS! I will have to take MARTA down to the mall so i can get some more some weekend.

Faith21 skinny jeans, Payless sandals, Walmart stripped v-neck, Forever21 necklace, Forever21 ring, Vaisha's Jewelry Bracelet (my sisters friend makes jewelry and this my favorite piece i have from her), mom's purse from Kohl's, Rag-o-Rama scarf.

I don't have any big purses so i borrowed my mom's and tied a scarf to it for a pop of color and to distract from all the pen marks on the purse.
I'm also becoming more comfortable with what i wear, i use to ALWAYS wear a jacket with anything, even when it was hot out, because i have some back fat and i hate it, but i decided to go without the jacket for once.

I have another outfit post coming up soon, and i'll probably do a post about the colleges i want to apply to, since the beginning of the school year is coming up (2 weeks, i'm going crazy, my sleep schedule is screwed up) and i'll be a senior, and i'll tell you guys about my DREAM college that i want to get into SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO badly, but where my mom doesn't want me to go. Photos Fill the Void

I think this is something i'll start doing regularly. I save lots of photos on my computer, but never do anything with them, so when i do fill like posting but have no outfit photos or anything fashion oriented i'll do a photo dump.This is 2NE1 my favourite KPop girl group, yeah i listen to KPop. Anyways they have Amazing style and so upbeat, i luv these girls.

This is Abby from NCIS (one of my favourite shows!) I remember some one said i remind them of here because i tend to wear dark colors( sometimes emo-ish look, but i'm out growing that) ,but i'm really upbeat and fun like her.

I love Mary Tyler Moore, i think she's a great actress and she's so funny in the Dick Van Dyke Show (feel so old when i say that, but i love that show, what decade was it from? I don't remember.)I also love Audrey Hepburn. My favourite movies with her in them are Charade and How To Steal A Million, she's adorable and funny and reminds me of myself so much in Charade with the random questions and thoughts that she has.I think these are both photos for Tokyo, i got them from Fashiontoast.com, i love that blog, Rumi doesn't just do fashion photos but also photos of places she's been. My First Time Here

This isn't my first blog, and possible won't be my last. I've been bouncing around cyberspace for the last year from my old blog (fatewonderland.blogspot.com) to a Chictopia (which i may or may not start using again) to nothing at all. What i've found is that blogging gets me out more. I love getting out the house, but don't that often and when i had a blog and chictopia i found a reason to get dressed instead of lounging around in my Pjs and i pushed my parents 1) drive me places or 2) get me a car. The car thing didn't happen, but my parents now see that i get bored at home and try to get me out more.
I also like blogging juat to get my voice out an express my opinion, especially about fashion. I'd call my self a fashion novice, but learning. I have friends that like clothes, but not on the level that i do, so i that's another reason i blog. I'm also starting this blog to see if can get followers from my old blog and my chictopia to come and look at my blog and comment and give me fashion advice. Hoping to start posting my DIYs, outfit posts and other stuff soon for those reasons.
I'm also starting this blog as a place to vent about college. I'm going to be a senior when school starts, which mean applying for colleges, senioritis and just trying to have fun and survive to the end of the school year. I already know what college i really really really want to go to, but I'm going to have to try really hard to get in. i'll tell you guys about it later.
I know there's more i mean to say, but right now i'm super tired, which i have been recently and i have AP summer work to do and i only have two weeks left and i hate the feeling of having to wake up early and catch the bus.
